Through my photographs, I invite you to pause, breathe, and experience a moment of Northern Norway.

About me
My name is Therese Helen Kildahl, and I am a nature and landscape photographer based in Northern Norway.
I am 33 years old and currently live in Sørreisa, but I come from the beautiful fairytale island of Senja — a place that lies at the very heart of my photography. The dramatic landscapes, changing light, and raw nature of Northern Norway are my greatest sources of inspiration, and they strongly shape my visual expression.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Leadership, Innovation and Marketing from the University of Tromsø and have also lived for ten years in Telemark, where I studied sports during upper secondary school. In recent years, alongside my landscape work, I have taken on selected photography assignments such as class photos, weddings, and confirmation portraits.
Several of my photographs are permanently displayed at Finnsnes Gaard and Sørreisa Hotel, where they contribute to the atmosphere of historic seaside buildings and interiors.
My journey with photography began when I received my first DSLR camera at the age of 14. What started as a hobby gradually grew into a passion — and eventually into a way of life. When I encounter the perfect scene, I lose all sense of time and place. I am fully present, simply experiencing the moment. Photography is my way of slowing down, and it has become a form of therapy for me.
Through countless hikes, adventures, and thousands of images, I strive to capture moments that would otherwise pass unnoticed. My goal is to preserve the feeling of being there — the calm, the power, and the atmosphere — and transform it into timeless wall art that can be enjoyed every day.
